Macallan Gold Double Cask replaced the Macallan Gold 1824 series in 2018 but shares that bottling’s DNA, being assembled from a mix of American oak and European oak sherry-treated casks. A lighter Macallan than older fans will remember, this is the entry-level modern Macallan style.
