A single cask Tormore 1994 26-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2021 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range. This Tormore 1994 came from single cask 8355 and was bottled without colouring or chill filtration.
Single cask #8355 was a first fill sherry butt that yielded just shy of 600 bottles of 26-year-old Tormore 1994 at a hefty 58% natural cask strength. Tormore is gaining traction with whisky fans and seems to be potentially another hidden gem – this distillery is definitely one to watch.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Dark toffee aromas lead to fruitcake and candied orange peel.
Palate: Smooth with rich spiced plum flavours and hints of dark chocolate and oak.
Finish: A medium finish with roasted hazelnuts.
