A single cask 2009 Ardmore bottled as a 12-year-old in 2022 by Elixir Distillers without colouring or chill filtration for their Single Malts of Scotland series at its natural cask strength of 54.1%.
Ardmore is one of the smokiest Highland single malts, and this SMOS 12-year-old Ardmore 2009 has had its phenol quotient upped by virtue of the cask having come from Ardmore’s sister distillery Laphroaig. We’re expecting fireworks from this one.
