An old bottle of Balblair 1965 12-year-old Highland single malt whisky released by legendary independent bottlers Cadenhead’s in 1977 in their classic brown dumpy bottle with black label.
Bottled at a hearty 80 UK Imperial proof, equivalent to 45.7%, this was the first of a handful of highly-regarded 1965 Balblair whiskies bottled by Cadenhead’s, the final edition of which was a well-known 26-year-old Balblair 1965 released for Cadenhead’s 150th anniversary in 1992.
