Released in Autumn 2022, Black Bottle Smoke & Dagger is the fourth batch of the Black Bottle brand’s special edition Alchemy Series releases, and is clearly the spiritual successor to 2021’s Black Bottle Island Smoke, which picked up a Master Award at the 2021 Scotch Whisky Masters.

Black Bottle Smoke & Dagger is one of the peatiest Black Bottle releases so far, with a chunk of the extra smokiness coming from the use of Bunnahabhain’s Moine peated spirit. As with the previous Alchemy Series releases, Black Bottle Smoke & Dagger Alchemy #4 has been bottled at 46.3% without colouring or chill filtration.
