This Old Particular 10-year-old Cardhu 2013 came from Cask 18175, a refill hogshead that yielded 367 bottles at the Old Particular standard strength of 48.4%. Independently-bottled Cardhu is particularly unusual, as owners Diageo need the vast majority of the distillery’s output for Johnnie Walker and their own official bottlings – this well-aged refill hogshead should be much in demand.
