This single barrel 23-year-old Elijah Craig 1990 came from Barrel 116, which was filled in April 1990 when the old Heaven Hill distillery was still in production before tragically burning down in 1996. Consequently, these earlier editions of Elijah Craig 23-year-old are highly desirable nowadays.
