Released in 2022, The English Whisky 2012 Smokey Virgin is a small batch English single malt whisky from The English Distillery (formerly known as St. George’s Distillery).
Matured in virgin oak casks and malted to a 55ppm phenolicity, this Smokey Virgin 2012 is a heavily peated dram, one of just 2100 bottles released without colouring or chill filtration at a great drinking strength of 46%. A brash, characterful dram with powerful vanilla and woodsmoke notes.
