This 2007 Glenallachie 15-year-old was bottled from an Oloroso sherry puncheon Cask 800719 that yielded an impressive 720 bottles at a natural cask strength of 58%. This looks like the pick of the litter from this batch of casks and we expect demand to be extremely high, so don’t sleep on this one.

Colour: Intense Walnut.
Nose: Layers of dried banana chips, caramelised muscovado sugar and honeycomb, with hints of root ginger, toffee and butterscotch.
Palate: Bursting with hazelnuts, mocha and red berries, followed by heather honey, orchard fruits and cinnamon spice.
