This 13-year-old Glenburgie 2011 was finished for over four years in a hogshead cask that had previously been home to red wine from France’s Languedoc region and was bottled from single cask 805622 with an outturn of 302 bottles at a whopping natural cask strength of 58.9%. Indie Glenburgies are getting much more common these days, which is great news for whisky fans as this workhorse Speyside distillery always seems to deliver the goods.
