A single cask Glendronach 1994 20-year-old Highland single malt whisky. This cask was bottled in 2015 without colouring or chill filtration for Batch 12 of the distillery’s amazing single cask releases.
This 20-year-old Glendronach 1994 came from Cask 3398, a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon cask that yielded 642 bottles at its natural cask strength of 53.2%. Evidently an awful lot of puncheon casks were being filled at Glendronach in the mid-1990s, and we should definitely be grateful for that fact, as these single cask puncheons are terrific.
