This 1994 Glendronach 21-year-old came from Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon cask 3399 and was released at its natural cask strength of 53.2%, yielding a total of 627 bottles. This distillery exclusive Glendronach whisky has a rich sherry aroma with an earthy, leathery background featuring sweet notes of marzipan, Mediterranean fruits and rich dark chocolate. These early 1990s vintage Glendronach single casks are highly sought-after for a reason, as they’re all excellent. If you haven’t tried one yet this would be a fantastic place to start.
