A single cask Glenrothes 1997 26-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 without colouring or chill filtration by Signatory Vintage as part of their fantastic Symington’s Choice range selected by head honcho Andrew Symington himself.
This 26-year-old Glenrothes 1997 came from single cask 9812, a first fill Oloroso sherry butt that yielded 612 bottles at its natural cask strength of 52.4% – rather promisingly low for Glenrothes, who fill their casks at around 69%, so this should be absolutely packed with flavour.
