This 18-year-old Speymalt Macallan 2005 was bottled from single cask 22606304, one of three similar sister casks released in summer 2024, and yielded 344 bottles at its still admirably sturdy natural cask strength of 56.4%. The Speymalt whiskies offer unbeatable value for sherry-matured Macallans of this age and these cask strength editions compare very favourably in both price and quality with the distillery’s own official bottlings.
