Hermitage Cigar 15 is a 15-year-old Grande Champagne Cognac from esteemed bottlers Hermitage. The company’s cognacs are selected by Hermitage’s founder David Baker, one of the UK’s greatest exponents of the art of the eaux-de-vie.
Hermitage Cigar 15 is made exclusively from Ugni Blanc grapes in Grande Champagne, the Cognac region’s most prestigious sub-appellation, and is assembled from a small batch of eaux-de-vie aged for 6-8 months in new Limousin oak casks before being reracked into refill casks to ensure a slow maturation and allow the spirit’s complexities to develop. Hermitage Cigar 15 is an excellent post-prandial sipping cognac with delicious flavours of exotic fruit accompanied by pleasing tobacco, spice and nutty notes and a hint of cocoa powder.
