An old litre bottle of Highland Park 16-year-old Island single malt whisky bottled for global travel retail / duty-free in the mid-2000s.
The perfect bridge between the mighty core range 12-year-old and 18-year-old editions, this tall bottle 16-year-old Highland Park travel retail litre version was a very short-lived bottling introduced in the run-up to the distillery’s major packaging overhaul in 2006/7 and is consequently quite rare nowadays even though obviously there was a lot of it about at the time.
