A 35cl (350ml) bottle of Kininvie 17-year-old Batch 001, released by owners William Grant for the Travel Retail market back in 2014.

Until the advent of Ailsa Bay, Kininvie was the quietest distillery in William Grant’s portfolio – the distillery was built neighbouring the company’s Balvenie distillery in 1990 and the vast majority of its considerable output goes towards Grant’s blended whiskies. Kininvie is one of the main constituents of Monkey Shoulder blended malt, but it’s still rare to see it as a single malt whisky, so this limited edition 17-year-old has always been popular.
