This 12-year-old Longmorn 2012 came from single cask 921, which was a first fill bourbon barrel that yielded 226 bottles at a pleasingly assertive natural cask strength of 56.9%. Longmorn is great from either bourbon or sherry casks and is just getting going at this age, so this should be a fresh, fruity dram with a touch of citrus and spice.
