A 1997 13 year old Mortlach by Douglas Laing. In these days of super expensive official Mortlachs, this should be a breath of reasonably priced fresh air. Matured in a refill sherry butt so lots of soft fruit character around Mortlach’s typically full bodied, beefy distillery character.
