A very special edition of Mount Gay XO! This Peat Smoke expression was bottled for Mount Gay’s Master Blender Collection in 2021 from a small batch of the Barbados distillery’s aged pot and column distilled rums, which were initially aged between 8-15 years in ex-bourbon casks before a 6 month finishing period in Islay whisky casks.
The resulting Peat Smoke Mount Gay XO has been bottled at an exceptionally promising 57%, allowing the fabulously rich and smoky marriage of rich Mount Gay rum with peaty Islay whisky influence to truly shine. This will be an epic after-dinner sipping rum.

Aroma: Distinct old oak aroma, stewed fruit and sweet caramel.
Palate: Warm chocolate, bourbon vanilla and smoke.
Body: Delicate on the palate with a velvety texture; slow running lanky legs when swirled.
