Batch 4 of Spirit of Yorkshire’s Filey Bay Moscatel Finish English single malt whisky was bottled in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration at a hearty 46%. Filey Bay Moscatel Finish begins its maturation in ex-bourbon casks and is later reracked into Spanish oak casks that previously held the delicious sweet wine Moscatel before bottling.
Filey Bay Moscatel Finish has been part of the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery’s core range since its introduction in 2020 and has proven a big hit with whisky fans, picking up a Gold Medal at the World Whisky Masters. A punchy medium-weight English single malt whisky with delicious sweet exotic fruit flavours from the Moscatel.
