Despite its appearance, this 1981 Brora has been matured in a Sherry Butt. It produced a healthy 774 bottles. It was bottled as a 19-year-old in October 2000 at a controlled 43%.
Brora whisky has not always been so desirable like it is today and the likes of Signatory Vintage who bottled this whisky had stacks and stacks of this calibre of whisky laying in the warehouses.
