This Old Particular 15-year-old Ledaig 2008 was bottled from Cask 17765, a refill hogshead that yielded 349 bottles at the Old Particular standard strength of 48.4%, roughly equivalent to the old 85 Imperial Proof. Ledaig is the peated single malt whisky from Tobermory distillery on Mull and is always a robust, quirky spirit bursting with character – this refill cask 15-year-old should be a splendid dram.
